- The main raw material is put in a mixer where water and the necessary additives to obtain a substrate with the required moisture and a specific and suitable formulation for the growth of each fungus are added.
- Once a homogeneous mixture is made, it is transferred to the filling machine where the substrate is packed into sterilizable bags of 4.5 kg.
- The substrate is sterilized in autoclaves to remove bacteria and moulds. GURELAN produces conventional substrate bags and other eco-certified.
- The substrate, once sterilized and cooled, passes to the inoculation under controlled conditions.
- The bags are sealed and printed with all the necessary information for the product traceability from the inoculum used, to the variety, and the key points of the process.
- The bags are transported to air-conditioned rooms for its incubation.
- Once invaded by the fungus, the bags are ready to be put into the places where the crop will grow.
